Stacy A. Estes

Stacy graduated with honors from the University of Tampa in 2002 and was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Psychology.  She received her Juris Doctor degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2006.

While in law school, she worked for the Criminal Defense Clinic in Lubbock, Texas and represented indigent clients with misdemeanor cases, domestic violence injunctions, and DUI cases. She also was also a member of the William Daniel National Mock Trial Team.

Upon graduating law school, Stacy was appointed an Assistant State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Tampa, Florida.  As a prosecutor, Stacy personally handled thousands of DUI and misdemeanor cases and hundreds of felony cases ranging from aggravated battery to armed robbery to career criminals. Stacy has tried over 30 jury and non-jury trials and has argued motions.

Stacy is a member of The Florida Bar.  She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
